Three Ways You Can Help CAIR on Giving Tuesday

As-salaamu alaykum

Mark your calendars! Our nation had a day for giving thanks, and now we have a day for giving back.

That’s why CAIR plans to participate in Giving Tuesday tomorrow, December 1st: a day to encourage and celebrate a culture of giving. It’s a day when communities, charities, businesses, and individuals come together to transform the way we think about, talk about, and participate in giving.

At a time when we are all experiencing the pandemic, generosity is what brings people of all races, faiths, and political views together. Generosity gives everyone the power to make a positive change in the lives of others. Generosity is a fundamental value anyone can act on, insh Allah.

For those of you who have never before participated in Giving Tuesday, please know that your donation to CAIR has the potential to help us protect and empower the American Muslim community. This year, our #GivingTuesday goal is to raise $50,000 to fight anti-Muslim bigotry and discrimination and advance CAIR’s other critical work.

We all have gifts to give. With social media, online giving, delivery, mail, and phones, there are limitless ways to use your generosity to support others.

Here are three ways to get involved tomorrow without leaving the comfort of your own home:

With this link, you can easily create your own fundraiser on Facebook that people can use to support CAIR.
Please share our fundraiser page among your family and friends online to spread the word about our important cause.
If you are not on Facebook, you may also give directly through CAIR’s website at:

We hope you will join us tomorrow. Your Giving Tuesday contribution can make a real difference in the lives of American Muslims across our country.
Thank you for your support.
