(WASHINGTON, D.C., 2/20/18) – On Wednesday, February 21, the San Diego chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-San Diego) will join interfaith and community partners at a news conference outside a U.S. Naval Academy Alumni Association (USNAAA) event in that city featuring an anti-Muslim conspiracy theorist.
WHAT: CAIR-San Diego and Interfaith Partners Stand Against All forms of Hate
WHEN: Wednesday, February 21, 11 a.m. PST
WHERE: In front of Dave and Buster’s Mission Valley, 2931 Camino Del Rio N, San Diego, CA 92108
CONTACT: CAIR-San Diego Executive Director Hanif Mohebi, 858-774-9991, hmohebi@cair.com
CAIR says the speaker at the event, John Guandolo, is an infamous Islamophobe who claims a former CIA director was a “secret Muslim” and that Muslim hotel managers, cabbies and 7-11 workers seek to take over America.
Last week, CAIR called on USNAAA to drop Guandolo as a speaker.
