(WASHINGTON D.C., 4/11/2022) – On Wednesday, April 13, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) will join Muslim Advocates to hold a virtual event on religious accommodation rights during Ramadan.
At the event, legal experts from CAIR and Muslim Advocates will discuss the rights of Muslims to request religious accommodation at schools, colleges, and the workplace. Legal experts will also take questions from the audience on such topics as requesting time off to celebrate Eid al-Fitr holiday marking the end of the fast, requesting space for prayer, and offering more flexible schedules for Muslim students and employees during Ramadan.
