(WASHINGTON, D.C., 1/31/2023) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today condemned the distribution of antisemitic flyers in Charlottesville, Va.
The flyers were distributed to homes in Charlottesville’s Barracks Rugby and Venable neighborhoods over the weekend.

“The rise of antisemitic bigotry is cause for concern for all Americans and this disturbing trend must be addressed by members of all faith and minority communities,” said CAIR National Communications Director Ibrahim Hooper. “We condemn the distribution of this hateful propaganda and stand in solidarity with the Virginia Jewish community against antisemitism.”
He said CAIR and the American Muslim community stand in solidarity with all those challenging anti-Jewish hatred, anti-Black racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, white supremacy, and all other forms of bigotry.
