CAIR Condemns Distribution of White Supremacist Propaganda in Wisconsin

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today condemned the distribution of flyers promoting white supremacy in Elkhorn, Wisconsin.

Residents of Elkhorn discovered flyers promoting a racist organization distributed around their neighborhood. Security camera video captured a car distributing the flyers early Sunday morning. Police are asking anyone with information about the flyers or the vehicle seen in the surveillance footage to come forward.

“Hate groups often try to intimidate communities and recruit followers by distributing bigoted propaganda,” said CAIR National Communications Manager Ismail Allison. “We stand in solidarity with the residents of Elkhorn and urge them to come together and repudiate the hate-filled ideology these flyers promote.”

Yesterday, CAIR called on the Iowa Department of Transportation to cancel a personalized license plate apparently making reference to Nazi leader Adolf Hitler’s manifesto “Mein Kampf.”

He said Washington, D.C., based CAIR and the American Muslim community stand in solidarity with all those challenging antisemitism, systemic anti-Black racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, white supremacy, and all other forms of bigotry.
