The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today said that the wiping out of 902 families in Gaza by Israeli forces over the past year is “undeniable proof of genocidal intent” on the part of the Israeli government.
The Israeli military reportedly wiped 902 Palestinian families off the civil register in Gaza since last October.

In a statement, CAIR National Executive Director Nihad Awad said:
“The wiping out of more than 900 entire families is undeniable proof of the far-right Israeli government’s genocidal intent toward the Palestinian people in Gaza. These atrocities cannot be ignored, and they cannot be excused. The Biden administration must stop supporting the wholesale slaughter of families and force the Israeli government to halt its genocidal campaign.”
He noted that yesterday, CAIR said the Biden administration must stop Israel’s genocide in Gaza from being repeated in the occupied West Bank after an Israeli airstrike on a cafe in Tulkarem refugee camp killed at least 18 Palestinians and wounded many others.
