CAIR Says Biden Admin Responsible for Israeli ‘Line of Corpses’ Kill Zone in Gaza

Israeli soldiers compete to kill anyone, including children, who enters the death zone

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today said the Biden administration, through its complicity with the Gaza genocide, is responsible for the so-called “line of corpses” Israeli forces maintain in Gaza in which anyone – including children – entering the zone is shot and their bodies left to be devoured by dogs.

According to the Israeli media outlet Haaretz: “IDF soldiers who served in Gaza tell Haaretz that anyone who crosses an imaginary line in the contested Neztarim corridor is shot to death, with every Palestinian casualty counting as a terrorist – even if they were just a child.”

Israeli soldiers reportedly compete to see who can killed the most Palestinians and celebrate each murder. One Israeli soldier reportedly said: “A whole group of soldiers runs to kill a single person passing near the Netzarim axis in Gaza, showering him with bullets until he is dead, while all the soldiers laugh. There is also unlimited authority granted to commanders in Gaza.”

An Israeli commander said:

“There is a line north of the Netzarim axis known as the ‘line of corpses,’ and the residents of Gaza are fully aware of its meaning. In this area, Palestinians are indiscriminately shot, and their bodies are left to be devoured by dogs.”

In a statement, CAIR National Executive Director Nihad Awad said:

“Killing anyone, including children, in this death zone – and then celebrating the slaughter and leaving the bodies to be devoured by dogs – is a sickening reminder of the far-right Israeli government’s ongoing genocide in Gaza.

“The Israelis soldiers are themselves openly admitting they are committing and celebrating war crimes, yet the Biden administration ignores U.S. law and turns a blind eye to the atrocities, and instead rushes weapons to Israel and excuses its crimes against humanity. This slaughter on an industrial scale has also been enabled by Congress and largely ignored by the media.

“Israel’s genocide has been supported and excused by the Biden administration, which now bears responsibility for all of its brutal actions.”

Earlier today, CAIR demanded the release of a journalist reportedly abducted by Israeli forces at a checkpoint in Gaza during ongoing ethnic cleansing in the area.

Yesterday, CAIR called a report by British watchdog AirWars, which showed unprecedented civilian casualties in Gaza in the first 25 days of the war, the “latest evidence” of the Israeli government’s genocidal intent.

Israel has slaughtered more 45,000 people in Gaza, mostly women and children, according to Palestinian health authorities, and as many as 186,000 or more, according to the British medical journal The Lancet.

Earlier this week, CAIR condemned the Israeli regime for murdering Khaled Nabhan, a Palestinian grandfather who became widely known after a video showed him kissing the eyes of his slain granddaughter and calling her “soul of my soul.”
