Americans for Justice in Palestine Action (AJP Action) and American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) with CODEPINK, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), and the U.S. Council of Muslim Organizations (USCMO) will hold a press conference condemning Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to the White House.
This meeting legitimizes a leader with an active international arrest warrant for war crimes and underscores the United States’ complicity in Israel’s ongoing genocide and military occupation against the Palestinian people. If President Trump chooses to align fully with Netanyahu’s policies, he risks undermining prospects for peace by legitimizing actions that are violations of international law. His recent statements on the forced displacement of Palestinians and hints at supporting the annexation of large swaths of the West Bank because “Israel is small” raise concerns that his administration may embrace an expansionist agenda rather than pursue a just and lasting resolution.
Additional organizations and speakers are to be announced.
