The Massachusetts chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-MA) today condemned a rally by members of the white supremacist group Patriot Front in Boston near the Massachusetts State House Saturday.
“We condemn all efforts to spread white supremacy and other hate-filled ideologies in our state and nationwide,” said Tahirah Amatul-Wadud, Esq., Executive Director of CAIR-MA. “Members of all faith communities must come together to instead repudiate bigotry and promote mutual respect.”
Amatul-Wadud noted that CAIR’s national office condemned a similar march by the Patriot Front in Des Moines, Iowa, on Saturday.
She said CAIR and the American Muslim community stand in solidarity with all those challenging antisemitism, systemic anti-Black racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, white supremacy, and all other forms of bigotry.
