On Wednesday, March 19, the Maryland office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, plans to release civil rights data specific to that state showing a troubling trend in Islamophobia and viewpoint discrimination.
The Maryland data is part of CAIR’s national 2025 Civil Rights Report “Unconstitutional Crackdowns,” which was issued last week and reveals that Islamophobia continues to be at an all-time high across the country.
