This evening, the city of Santa Clara will commemorate the month of April as American Muslim Appreciation and Awareness Month (AMAAM) with a special proclamation presentation at its 7 p.m. city council meeting.
The proclamation recognizes the “rich history and significant contributions that American Muslims have had on [the] city and community.” The presentation is scheduled to take place during the first few minutes of the meeting.
