BREAKING: CAIR Calls for Removal of GHF from Gaza After BBC Exposes Anti-Muslim Biker Gang Running Security

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today called for the removal of the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) from Gaza after an investigation by the BBC revealed that a biker gang with a history of violent anti-Muslim rhetoric is in charge of the foundation’s security.

BBC News has confirmed the identities of 10 members of the Infidels Motorcycle Club, an anti-Muslim biker gang, working in Gaza for UG Solutions, a private contractor providing security at Gaza Humanitarian Foundation aid distribution points. Infidels MC, established by Iraq war veterans in 2006, see themselves as modern Crusaders, using the Crusader cross as their symbol.

The gang is currently hosting anti-Muslim hate speech on its Facebook page and has previously held a pig roast “in defiance of” the Islamic holy month of Ramadan and denigrated the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

In a statement, CAIR National Executive Director Nihad Awad said:

“The Trump administration must immediately force the so-called Gaza Humanitarian Foundation out of Gaza before anti-Muslim mercenaries from the ‘Infidels’ biker gang can oversee the slaughter of more starving Palestinian civilians. These GHF mercenaries have a history of extremely violent rhetoric against Muslims and denigrating various aspects of Islam, from Ramadan to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). They should have no place in Gaza. Neither should the GHF, which must be investigated and prosecuted for its alleged crimes against humanity.”

In a comment published by the BBC, CAIR also noted:

“Putting the Infidels biker club in charge of delivering humanitarian aid in Gaza is like putting the KKK in charge of delivering humanitarian aid in Sudan. It makes no sense whatsoever,” said Edward Ahmed Mitchell, deputy director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a leading Muslim civil rights organisation in the US. “It’s bound to lead to violence, and that’s exactly what we’ve seen happen in Gaza.”

Over 2,000 civilians have been gunned down at aid distribution points while seeking food. Most were killed near GHF sites. The BBC reported that at least 40 of about 320 people hired to work for UG Solutions in Gaza were recruited from Infidels MC, according to an estimate by a former contractor.

CAIR previously called on the Trump administration to cut ties with the Infidels Motorcycle Club after a report by Zeteo exposing the group’s links with GHF.
