On Tuesday, January 27, the Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-MN) and Communities United Against Police Brutality will hold a peaceful rally at the State Capitol in St. Paul to demand the arrest of federal officers who killed Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

Today, CAIR-MN, along with community organizations and leaders, held a news conference at the Hennepin County Government Center in Minneapolis to demand that state and local law enforcement authorities investigate the killing of Alex Pretti by federal officers.
Yesterday, CAIR’s national office and CAIR-MN demanded that Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey order local law enforcement authorities to investigate the shooting and called for the removal of all Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) forces from the state.
Earlier this month, CAIR-MN similarly called for an independent and transparent investigation of the ICE-involved fatal shooting of Renee Good in Minneapolis.
