Demand that Congress Let Domestic Spying Expire on June 1st

Congress(WASHINGTON, D.C., 5/28/2015) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is calling on all Americans to contact their elected representatives in Congress one more time to urge that they let the NSA and FBI’s unconstitutional domestic surveillance program wrongly presumed to be authorized under Section 215 of the Patriot Act expire on June 1.

The Obama Administration and supporters of mass domestic surveillance in Congress – who would wrongly trade the privacy rights and protections offered by the U.S. Constitution for the illusion of security – are working hard to introduce new legislation that would reauthorize Section 215. We cannot let this happen.
