CAIR Joins ‘Stand Against Spying Congressional Scorecard’ Coalition

Today CAIR joined a coalition of organizations from across the political spectrum in promoting the StandAgainstSpying.org Congressional Scorecard to rate each member of Congress on his or her actions to end or promote mass surveillance. The scorecard is meant to recognize those members of Congress who have taken objective, measurable steps to enact meaningful surveillance reform in the past year, while also identifying those members of Congress who have not been engaged in the fight or who have promoted bills that would entrench mass surveillance.
