The International Women’s Day March will begin at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, March 5, at HemisFair Park downtown and end at Dignowity Park, at Nolan and Hackberry. Supporters of women’s rights will march to demand equality and raise awareness about women’s health care, reproductive rights, and violence against women. Speakers include Councilwoman Elena Guajardo, president of the San Antonio chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations Sarwat Husain, Pastor Rosa Wilson, and Naomi Wanjiku Gakunka.
