South Carolina’s chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the Greater Columbia Community Relations Council are co-sponsoring “National Security and Civil Rights ”” Creating A Balance,” 5-7 p.m. tonight at the Chamber of Commerce of Columbia, 930 Richland St.. A panel of speakers will include Denyse Williams, executive director of the ACLU-South Carolina, agents from SLED and the FBI, and a representative from the U.S. Immigration Customs and Enforcement Department.
