Two Brooklyn teachers, an Orthodox Jew and a Syrian Muslim, who rely on their friendship as each of them faces an arranged marriage are the focus of an independent film being shown Monday at the Brighton Memorial Library.

The movie Arranged, sponsored by the Friends of the Brighton Memorial Library, is free. It won awards at the Berkshire International Film Festival and Brooklyn International Film Festival.

The screening will begin at 7 p.m. at the library, 2300 Elmwood Ave.
