“That’s why we named it the mercy society. The Holy Quran says you should show mercy to all mankind,” said Ramzieh Azmeh, a member of a group of Muslim physicians who are opening a walk-in clinic Thursday, May 1.
The Dayton Mercy Society, a nonprofit organization, is invested in the physical health and cultural enrichment of the Miami Valley.
Located in the Reach Out of Montgomery County, 25 E. Foraker St., the Dayton Mercy Society Muslim Clinic of Ohio will accept patients every Thursday from 5 – 9 p.m.
“We created the clinic to serve Dayton’s uninsured and under-insured and it will be first of its kind in Ohio,” Azmeh said. (MORE)
