(WASHINGTON, D.C., 8/12/21) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization today launched a nationwide survey to better understand the lived experiences of American Muslims 20 years after the September 11, 2001, terror attacks.
The survey consists of 20 multiple-choice questions. All responses will be anonymous.
CAIR is encouraging American Muslims to fill out the survey and to share it with their peers, Muslim organizations, Muslim student groups, and other Islamic institutions.

“As we mark the 20th anniversary of the September 11 terror attacks, it is vital that we assess the different challenges American Muslim communities and the larger society are facing as a result of the events of that day and in the following decades. Based on the results of the survey, we will make recommendations that we hope will address some of those challenges,” said CAIR Research and Advocacy Coordinator Huzaifa Shahbaz.
CAIR’s mission is to protect civil rights, enhance understanding of Islam, promote justice, and empower American Muslims.
La misión de CAIR es proteger las libertades civiles, mejorar la comprensión del Islam, promover la justicia, y empoderar a los musulmanes en los Estados Unidos.
