The Arizona chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-AZ) today welcomed hate crime charges against a man who allegedly defaced a synagogue in Phoenix.
The indictment alleges that the man defaced a synagogue with an antisemitic flyer earlier this week.

“We welcome the charges against the alleged perpetrator of this unacceptable act of religious bigotry and intimidation,” said CAIR-AZ Executive Director Azza Abuseif. “No religious community deserves to be subjected to this at their house of worship.
CAIR and the American Muslim community stand in solidarity with all those challenging antisemitism, systemic anti-Black racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, white supremacy, and all other forms of bigotry.
