WHERE: AZ State Capitol 1700 W Washington St, Phoenix, AZ 85007(House of Representatives Lawn)

At the news conference, CAIR-AZ Executive Director Azza Abuseif will be available to answer questions and discuss the concerns of the students and parents.
State Superintendent Tom Horne recently warned Arizona schools to avoid UNICEF and Amnesty International, both internationally-respected organizations that defend the human rights of all people. Horne sent a message to all Arizona school district superintendents, urging them to keep UNICEF and Amnesty International off school campuses, calling them a “desperate cabal.”
Horne falsely called materials used in a joint presentation of the Desert Mountain High School UNICEF and Amnesty International clubs “anti-American.” The materials supported Palestinians in Gaza and accused Israel of human rights violations.
