In a statement, CAIR said:
“Blowing up mosques in Iran risks turning this illegal war for Israel into a war on Islam for Israel. The Trump administration must reveal who conducted this attack on a mosque and hold them accountable, whether officials in the Pentagon or Israel.”
CAIR previously called on Congress to conduct a transparent and independent investigation into the reported massacre of 165 schoolgirls and teachers at an Iranian elementary school in a bombing reportedly perpetrated by the United States or Israel amid their joint bombing of Iran.
Last month, CAIR called on Congress to force an end to the U.S.-Israel war on Iran after former Director of the National Counterterrorism Center Joe Kent resigned and admitted that the war was initiated “due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.”
