CAIR Condemns Attack on U.S. Embassy in Yemen

WASHINGTON, D.C., 9/17/08) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) today condemned an attack on the U.S. embassy in Yemen that left at least 16 people dead.

In a statement, the Washington-based Islamic civil rights and advocacy group said:
“We condemn this brutal attack and call for the swift apprehension and punishment of the perpetrators. Such acts of violence can never be justified or excused.”
