CAIR Condemns Burning of West Bank Villages by Illegal Israeli Settlers

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today condemned the reported burning of three Palestinian villages in the illegally-occupied West Bank by illegal Israeli settlers.

Armed Israeli settlers set fire to three Palestinian villages then blocked ambulances and medics from helping those injured, with Palestinian families watched their homes burn.

According to the UN, more than 1,800 attacks by illegal Israeli settlers were documented in 2025.

In a statement, Washington, D.C., based CAIR said:

“The reported burning of Palestinian villages and the deliberate obstruction of aid represent grave violations of international humanitarian law and basic human decency. These attacks are not isolated incidents but part of a sustained campaign of settler violence carried out with near-total impunity under Israel’s illegal occupation. The international community, and especially our own government, must stop enabling these crimes and demand accountability.”

CAIR renewed its call for U.S. officials to uphold international law, protect Palestinian civilians and take meaningful action to end Israeli settler violence and the broader system of occupation that enables it.

Earlier this month, CAIR called on Congress to condemn Israel’s torture of prisoners and bulldozing and targeting of United Nations facilities serving Palestinian refugees in illegally-occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank, calling them a “continuation of ethnic cleansing” and flagrant violations of international law.
