(WASHINGTON, D.C., 1/23/2023) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today condemned the distribution of antisemitic flyers to homes in Montgomery County, Md.
Residents of Montgomery County’s Kensington area discovered the flyers on their lawns on Sunday morning. Montgomery County police are investigating the incident.

“We condemn the spread of this hateful propaganda and stand in solidarity with the Jewish community of Montgomery County and with all those targeted by bigotry on the basis of their faith,” said CAIR’s Maryland Director Zainab Chaudry. “Communities in our state and nationwide must come together to repudiate the disturbing rise of antisemitism.”
Chaudry noted that CAIR has similarly condemned past antisemitic incidents in Maryland.
She said CAIR and the American Muslim community stand in solidarity with all those challenging antisemitism, systemic anti-Black racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, white supremacy, and all other forms of bigotry.
