(WASHINGTON, D.C., 1/17/2022) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today condemned the distribution of antisemitic flyers to homes in Springfield, Ore.
Residents of Springfield’s Thurston area discovered flyers with antisemitic language and conspiracy theories on their driveways. It is unclear what organization, if any, that distributed the flyers.

“We condemn the promotion of this hateful antisemitic propaganda and stand in solidarity with the Jewish community and all other minority communities targeted by conspiracy theories and hate,” said CAIR National Communications Director Ibrahim Hooper. “All Americans must come together to repudiate the disturbing rise of antisemitism nationwide.”
He said CAIR and the American Muslim community stand in solidarity with all those challenging antisemitism, systemic anti-Black racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, white supremacy, and all other forms of bigotry.
