CAIR Condemns RSF Massacre in Sudan, Calls on Trump Admin to Deny Group Support of Allies

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today condemned an attack on a camp for displaced people in Sudan by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) that left hundreds dead or wounded and displaced up to 400,000 people.

RSF forces seized control of the Zamzam camp in North Darfur on Sunday after a four-day assault.

In a statement, CAIR said:

“We condemn this horrendous massacre and displacement of civilians and urge the Trump administration to make clear that the RSF will not be recognized and that U.S. allies should not support them.”
