“If there was ever a time that we needed a safe space, it's now. The purpose of CAIR-DFW Talks is to provide young Muslim adults, ages 18-30, a facilitated space to share and discuss their emotional states. These past couple of years have been an especially difficult time to be young, to be Muslim and to be people of color in Dallas. Whether discussing recent murders in the community, FBI sweeps and of course, the July 7th shootings, it is our hope that Muslims attend this important event, so that we can collectively support one another and further facilitate a sense of community,†said CAIR-DFW Outreach Coordinator Henna Khawja.
