CAIR Joins Baltimore #MayDay Rally Attended by 4K+ Protesters

On Thursday, May 1, the Maryland office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) joined over 50 partner organizations in sponsoring Baltimore’s #StoptheBillionnaireTakeover May Day rally against the Trump administration’s attacks on civil rights, the economy, jobs, students, immigrants, and vulnerable communities.

The main rally, organized by the Baltimore Rapid Response Network, unified seven independent feeder marches convening at McKeldin Plaza from different parts of the city as part of a national day of protest against the administration’s harmful policies and discriminatory agenda. Protesters called for protections for workers, students and immigrants, justice for Palestine, and much more.
