(MINNEAPOLIS, MN, 11/27/23) – Later today (Monday, Nov. 27, 1 p.m.), the Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Minnesota) and the legal team of De León & Nestor, LLC will hold a press conference to announce administrative legal actions taken against an Edina school for silencing Muslim students who expressed support for Palestine.
The press conference will feature the legal team representing the students, who were reportedly suspended for participating in protests and speaking up for Palestine. CAIR-Minnesota will also present reports highlighting similar cases in schools across the state, shedding light on what appears to be a troubling pattern of suppressing student voices.
