CAIR-MN’s Jaylani Hussein Receives Award From Minnesota/Dakotas American Immigration Lawyers Association

CAIR MN logo(MINNEAPOLIS, MN, 5/16/16) — The Minnesota/Dakotas Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), and The Advocates for Human Rights on Friday presented its annual “Immigrant of Distinction Award†to Jaylani Hussein, executive director of the Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-MN).

The award is in recognition to Hussein’s outstanding contribution to social justice. Each year at its Upper Midwest Immigration Law conference, the AILA recognizes an immigrant for his or her outstanding contribution to the society.
