CAIR-Pittsburgh Condemns Distribution of Antisemitic Neo-Nazi Propaganda

The Pittsburgh chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Pittsburgh), a chapter of the largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today condemned the distribution of antisemitic neo-Nazi propaganda in Squirrel Hill and Downtown.

According to media reports, one flyer had an image of Adolf Hitler and read: “Next time … no more nice guy.”

In a statement, CAIR-Pittsburgh Executive Director Christine Mohamed said: “We condemn this antisemitic neo-Nazi hate campaign targeting our community and urge political and religious leaders to speak out against this and all other forms of bigotry and attempts to divide our society.”

In October, CAIR-Pittsburgh condemned the distribution of a digital flyer promoting the racist Ku Klux Klan in Charleroi, Pennsylvania.

Washington, D.C., based CAIR and the American Muslim community stand in solidarity with all those challenging antisemitism, systemic anti-Black racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, white supremacy, and all other forms of bigotry.

CAIR’s mission is to protect civil rights, enhance understanding of Islam, promote justice, and empower American Muslims.

La misión de CAIR es proteger las libertades civiles, mejorar la comprensión del Islam, promover la justicia, y empoderar a los musulmanes en los Estados Unidos.
