CAIR-San Diego Condemns Alleged Anti-Asian Attack on College Campus

The San Diego chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-San Diego), a chapter of the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today condemned an alleged anti-Asian attack on a local college campus.

A person walking in a parking lot on the San Diego Mesa College campus was reportedly struck in the head and back by objects that may have included a frozen egg. The alleged victim, who is Filipino-American, said he heard an anti-Asian slur shouted during the July 25 incident.

She said CAIR and the American Muslim community stand in solidarity with all those challenging antisemitism, systemic anti-Black racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, white supremacy, and all other forms of bigotry.
