(SANTA CLARA, CA, 2/17/2021) –The San Francisco Bay Area office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-SFBA) today condemned neo-Nazi hate vandalism targeting Temple Beth Torah in Fremont, California.
Staff at the synagogue reported that a 4-foot Nazi swastika was drawn on an exterior of the facility.

In a statement, CAIR-SFBA Executive Director Zahra Billoo said:
“We condemn this act of anti-Semitism and express solidarity with the Jewish community of Fremont. We all have the right to worship freely without fear of intimidation and we will defend that right for our Jewish neighbors. We urge city leaders to prioritize this investigation and ensure swift action is taken in the matter.”
She added that Washington, D.C.–based CAIR and the American Muslim community are standing in solidarity with all those challenging anti-Black racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, anti-Semitism, and white supremacy.
