(WASHINGTON, D.C., 9/24/2008) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) today praised the U.S. House of Representatives for passing a non-binding resolution “supporting Christian, Jewish, and Muslim interfaith dialogue that promotes peace, understanding, unity, and religious freedom.”

The resolution was co-sponsored by Reps. Keith Ellison (D-MN) and Zach Wamp (R-TN). It praises a number of initiatives such as the Amman Message and a letter sent to the Pope and other Christian leaders by 138 Muslim scholars, leaders, and activists.
