The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, is proud to announce that we have sent over 60,000 messages to Congress through our action alert urging members of Congress to protest or boycott Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s upcoming address to Congress.
CAIR Action Alert: Tell Congress to Boycott or Protest War Criminal Netanyahu’s July 24th Speech
This achievement reflects the collective power of our community and allies in advocating for justice and human rights. We have not just met but surpassed our initial goal of 20,000 supporters, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to holding genocidal war criminals accountable. But our work is far from over.
Our new goal is to reach 30,000 supporters, which will send 90,000 messages to Congress!
If you haven’t already, please use our action alert and spread the word to encourage others to send messages to more members of Congress. Let’s show them that while they may remain silent, our voices will not be silenced!
In a statement, CAIR Government Affairs Department Coordinator Shafiquil Muhshna said
“Remind your U.S. House representative and your Senators that Netanyahu is a racist, a corrupt politician, and a genocidal war criminal whose government has spent months massacring thousands of innocent people and years entrenching the occupation while undermining American presidents. Congress continues to ignore the collective outcry of their constituents and allow such atrocities to continue unchecked.”
Last month, CAIR condemned the ongoing Israel-U.S. massacre of Palestinian civilians in a so-called “safe zone” in Gaza, declaring the Biden administration’s complicity because of President Biden’s insistence on sending more bombs to enable Netanyahu’s war crimes in Rafah. CAIR believes that this is now as much an American genocide as it is an Israeli genocide.
