(Washington, D.C., 1/28/26) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations is proud to join the US Council of Muslim Organizations (USCMO) in inviting all Muslim American organizations, community leaders, students, and advocates from across the country to participate in the 2026 National Muslim Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill, taking place April 20–21, 2026, in Washington, D.C.

This powerful two-day national convening brings together American Muslims from diverse backgrounds to engage directly with members of Congress, amplify our collective voice, and advocate for policies rooted in justice, equity, and the common good. National Muslim Advocacy Day is a cornerstone of coordinated Muslim civic engagement- strengthening relationships with lawmakers while advancing issues that matter deeply to our communities.
Each year, hundreds of participants representing mosques, nonprofits, student groups, professional networks, and grassroots initiatives gather in Washington to receive advocacy training, align on shared priorities, and hold meaningful meetings with elected officials. The 2026 gathering builds on this legacy, with a renewed focus on unity, strategic advocacy, and long-term impact.
CAIR and USCMO invite all Muslim individuals and organizations from across the nation to join us in Washington, D.C., as we come together to advocate for our rights, our values, and our future.
