SPEAKER UPDATE: Dr. Maha Hilal to Speak at ‘Islamophobia Fight Club’ Session at CAIR National Leadership and Policy Conference

Dr. Maha Hilal, co-director of Justice for Muslims Collective, will speak on the ”˜Islamophobia Fight Club” panel at CAIR’s Oct. 19-20 National Leadership and Policy Conference at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, Va.

Dr. Hilal will join a panel of experts in diagnosing and challenging anti-Muslim hate, with a target audience of organizers, nonprofit leaders and local advocates.

CAIR’s conference, themed “We the People, Organizing for Justice: Vision 2020,” will begin on Oct. 19 and concludes with the 24th annual banquet, with the theme “Faith Led, Justice Driven,” on the evening of Saturday, Oct. 20.

Conference registration cost includes all meals and discounted student registrations are available.

NOTE: Due to the generosity of a donor, CAIR is offering local Muslim Student Associations (MSA) nationwide five FREE tickets each for the National Leadership and Policy Conference.

There is a limit of 50 free MSA tickets, which are available on a first-come-first-served basis. Attendees from outside the Washington, D.C., area would have to provide their own transportation and accommodation.
