On Friday, April 15, the Muslim Students’ Associations at Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland School of Medicine teamed up with CAIR to assemble and distribute Ramadan care packages to newly arrived Afghan families in Baltimore. The packages included student resource directories of volunteers offering to mentor and support new students navigating the American education system.
