Three Palestinian children from Gaza—Layan (14), Anas (8), and Ghazal (6)—are arriving in the Bay Area this week to begin lifesaving medical treatment. Their evacuation marks the largest transfer of injured Palestinian children to the United States since the war began. The effort is led by HEAL Palestine, a U.S.-based humanitarian nonprofit.

- Layan (14): Suffered severe burns and shrapnel wounds in a school bombing. Traveling with her mother and sister.

- Anas (8): Sustained leg injuries in a bombing that killed his father (arrives Tuesday, August 5).
