(WASHINGTON D.C., 10/6/2022) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today condemned the distribution of antisemitic flyers in Georgetown County, S.C.
The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office is investigating reports of antisemitic flyers distributed to homes in communities in Grand Stand. The flyers were reportedly distributed out of a moving car in the early hours of the morning. Anyone with information about the flyers or surveillance footage of distribution in their neighborhood is encouraged to call the Sheriff’s Office at (843) 546-5102.

“We are unfortunately witnessing the promotion of antisemitic, racist and white supremacist propaganda nationwide on almost a daily basis,” said CAIR National Communications Director Ibrahim Hooper. “Every American must take a stand against those who seek to spread messages of hatred and bigotry.”
He said CAIR and the American Muslim community stand in solidarity with all those challenging antisemitism, systemic anti-Black racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, white supremacy, and all other forms of bigotry.
