(WASHINGTON, D.C., 8/31/2023) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today condemned the distribution of white supremacist flyers in Scituate, R.I.
Flyers promoting white supremacist groups were distributed to homes and public places in Scituate several times this month. Police are investigating the incidents.

“Hate groups cannot intimidate or divide communities in Rhode Island or anywhere in our nation.” said CAIR National Communications Manager Ismail Allison. “We stand in solidarity with the people of Scituate against those who seek to spread this hate.”
He said CAIR and the American Muslim community stand in solidarity with all those challenging antisemitism, systemic anti-Black racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, white supremacy, and all other forms of bigotry.
