CAIR Condemns White Supremacist March in Kentucky

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today condemned a march by white supremacists flying Confederate flags in downtown Louisville, Kentucky, on Saturday.

In a statement, CAIR said:

“We condemn all attempts nationwide to promote white supremacy and the racist legacy of the Confederacy. All Americans should encourage unity and mutual respect, not division and hatred.”

Earlier this year, CAIR condemned a similar white supremacist march in Kentucky.

Earlier this month, CAIR condemned the reported establishment of a segregated white supremacist community in Arkansas from which “Jews and non-whites are explicitly banned.”

CAIR has repeatedly condemned white supremacist, antisemitic and racist activity nationwide.

Washington, D.C., based CAIR and the American Muslim community stand in solidarity with all those challenging antisemitism, systemic anti-Black racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, white supremacy, and all other forms of bigotry.

CAIR’s mission is to protect civil rights, enhance understanding of Islam, promote justice, and empower American Muslims.

La misión de CAIR es proteger las libertades civiles, mejorar la comprensión del Islam, promover la justicia, y empoderar a los musulmanes en los Estados Unidos.
