The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today welcomed Slovenia’s decision to impose a travel ban on indicted war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu over his government’s ongoing genocide in Gaza.
In a statement, Washington, D.C.-based CAIR said:
“We commend Slovenia for taking a principled stand in support of international law and human rights by barring Prime Minister Netanyahu from entering its territory while he presides over the genocide in Gaza. This is a necessary step toward accountability and justice.
“We urge the United States and other governments around the world to follow Slovenia’s lead by implementing similar measures until those responsible for crimes against humanity are held accountable.”
Yesterday, CAIR called on the Trump administration and Congress to condemn the overnight Israeli terror bombing of the new Gaza humanitarian aid flotilla carrying U.S. citizens and to demand its safe passage to bring supplies to the forcibly-starved people of Gaza.
