CAIR Condemns Neo-Nazi Antisemitic Attack in Montana

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today condemned a reported neo-Nazi antisemitic attack in Missoula, Montana.

Missoula Police responded to an assault in which the alleged victim was kicked and punched in the head by an unknown white male claiming to be a “Nazi.”

Washington, D.C., based CAIR has repeatedly condemned neo-Nazi activity nationwide. Last month, CAIR repeated its condemnation of the distribution of White supremacist propaganda in Montana

“This alleged antisemitic neo-Nazi attack is yet another disturbing reminder of the growing threat posed by white supremacist and neo-Nazi ideologies,” said CAIR National Communications Director Ibrahim Hooper. “We stand in solidary with the Jewish community – and all other minority communities – in Montana and nationwide as bias-motivated bias violence is unfortunately increasing around the country.”

He said CAIR and the American Muslim community stand in solidarity with all those challenging antisemitism, systemic anti-Black racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, white supremacy, and all other forms of bigotry.
