Join the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) in calling on your members of Congress to condemn Israel’s latest massacre of Palestinians in Gaza, which killed 21 people, including two infants, and to oppose continued U.S. funding for Israeli war crimes amid ongoing ceasefire violations.
TAKE ACTION NOW: SIGN CAIR’S ACTION ALERT!
Israeli terrorist forces launched strikes on Gaza on Wednesday, killing 21 Palestinians, reportedly in response to a militant attack on Israeli soldiers that seriously wounded one soldier. Since the ceasefire went into effect, a total of 556 Palestinians have been killed by Israel and 1,500 wounded, according to Gaza health officials.
These recent Israeli terrorist attacks on Palestinian civilians come amid mounting calls on Congress to block more than $6.5 billion in new arms sales to Israel, as its ongoing genocide continues and the Trump administration attempts to bypass Congress without congressional approval or oversight.
This week, House Foreign Affairs Committee Ranking Member Gregory Meeks criticized Secretary of State Marco Rubio for providing no documentation to justify skipping the congressional review process to send Israel four weapons systems, including Apache attack helicopters and combat land vehicles.
In a statement, CAIR National Government Affairs Director Robert S. McCaw said:
“It is obvious that the Israeli government is looking for any opportunity to murder Palestinians. Ever since the signing of the so-called ‘ceasefire,’ Israel has made it clear that it will not stop its genocide. Israel’s leadership is hell-bent on extermination of Palestinian civilians, and no international agreement will stop them. Public pressure from members of Congress can make a difference. We call on all members of Congress to condemn these heinous daily massacres and oppose new U.S. funding and weapons contracts fueling Israel’s never-ending genocide.”
CAIR has repeatedly called for the U.S. and other governments to halt military support that enables genocide.
Over the weekend, CAIR said Israeli attacks in Gaza that reportedly murdered some 30 additional people, including a number of children, once again show that the so-called “ceasefire” is a myth that Israel uses to continue its genocide and ethnic cleansing.
CAIR’s mission is to protect civil rights, enhance understanding of Islam, promote justice, and empower American Muslims.
La misión de CAIR es proteger las libertades civiles, mejorar la comprensión del Islam, promover la justicia y empoderar a los musulmanes en los Estados Unidos.
