CAIR Action Alert: Virginia Voter Registration Extended Until Friday (Today)

CAIR logo(WASHINGTON, D.C., 10/21/16) – CAIR is notifying all eligible Muslim voters in Virginia that voter registration has been reopened in their state until 12 A.M. tonight, Friday, October 21, due to a malfunction in the state's voter registration website earlier this week.

Because the state of Virginia’s voter registration website failed earlier this week a federal judge has ordered that voter registration be extended until midnight today.

CAIR is encouraging all eligible Virginian voters that forgot or missed the deadline to update their address or register to vote to do so immediately while there is still time!

Actions to Take:

Head to your local voter register’s office before 5:00 P.M.
