CAIR SAN DIEGO REP JOINS PANEL ON RELIGIOUS ISSUES IN THE WORKPLACE
(SAN DIEGO, CA, 3/30/07) – A representative of the San Diego chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-San Diego) yesterday joined a panel discussion on “Spirituality in the Workplace: Creating an Open and Welcoming Environment.”
The event was sponsored by the Conference Board as part of their 2007 Annual Diversity Conference, “Rhythms of Our World: Examining and Honoring Our Uniqueness and Multiplicities,” held in Coronado, Calif.
More than 100 people attended the conference at the historic Hotel Del Coronado. The panelists included Linda Saiger, Executive Director for the Council on Jewish Workplace Issues and CAIR-San Diego Public Relations Director Edgar Hopida.
All participants to the session received CAIR’s publication entitled, “An Employer’s Guide to Islamic Religious Practices.”
