The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today called on the Trump administration to shut down the so-called Gaza Humanitarian Foundation after Israeli forces killed 27 starving Palestinians at an aid distribution site in Rafah.
In the third such massacre in recent days, Israeli troops opened fire on starving Palestinians attempting to access food and supplies at an aid distribution site in Rafah, killing 27.
Since the opening of the distribution centers, mass killings of starving Palestinains attempting to access the aid have been repeatedly conducted by Israeli troops.
In a statement, CAIR National Executive Director Nihad Awad said:
“We call on the Trump administration to immediately force the shutdown of this aid killing zone after Israeli war criminals collaborating with American mercenaries massacred starving Palestinians for the third day in a row. The crimes the Israeli regime openly commits on a daily basis with American complicitly boggle the mind. This genocidal campaign of slaughter and starvation must end. Hundreds of aid trucks are ready to enter Gaza through established organizations and channels, like the United Nations. This is the only way to safely meet the massive demand for food, medicine, water and other basic necessities.”
He noted that earlier this week, CAIR condemned the Israeli so-called aid concentration sites in Gaza as “killing zones” after Israeli troops slaughtered at least 31 people and wounded more than 150 attempting to access the sites.
